Set design for the multinational opera commissioned for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics Cultural Festival. The Opera was conceived and directed by Robert Wilson. Five individual operas were produced in their native language in France, Holland, Italy, Germany and Japan. The operas were then to be combined as a single 12 hour opera cycle for the Los Angeles festival. Due to funding difficulties, the full opera cycle was never presented, but the individual productions toured internationally.
